Our Story

Built by Educators, for Education

We created Merit out of a genuine need we experienced every day in our own schools.

Our Origin

Why we built Merit

Welcome to Eduverse, Ltd. We created Merit out of a genuine need we experienced every day in our own schools. As full-time educators, we know firsthand the transformative power of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS). We also know that managing these frameworks can sometimes feel like an administrative burden that distracts from the students themselves.

That is why we built Merit. We set out to create a platform deeply rooted in meaningful recognition and reinforcement, rather than just another administrative ledger or spreadsheet.

We believe in simplistic design with solid features that just work.

We designed Merit to be straightforward, accessible, and exceptionally reliable, ensuring you can spend less time wrestling with software and more time celebrating student success. Through intuitive, self-service workflows, teams and educators can easily manage everything from adding students and staff to recognizing students and running automated reports.

Who We Are

In the Trenches With You

Our commitment to education isn't just in our past โ€” it's our present. Our team continues to work as full-time educators. This keeps Merit firmly grounded in the daily realities, challenges, and joys of today's classrooms.

Because we are actively serving in schools, our support schedule looks a bit different than a traditional software provider's. To uphold our professional ethics and out of respect for our school communities, our team only engages with Merit-related requests outside of our contractual work hours โ€” specifically before 8:00 AM and after 4:00 PM EST.

We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding regarding our response times. Our aim is that when we connect, you aren't talking to a generic help desk โ€” you are collaborating with fellow educators who understand exactly what you need.

Looking Ahead

What's Next

Merit is a young product and we are just getting started. We are interested in actively working with partner districts to learn what's missing, what could be better, and where the next meaningful problems are.

If you're a district or school leader who cares about building culture intentionally, we'd love to learn what you're dealing with and figure out if Merit can genuinely help.
